2016 Easter egg hunts in Springfield MO

When two bunnies bump into each other, do they greet by asking, “What’s the hops?”  Bad joke, we know, but since rabbits don’t have cable, their slang is possibly way behind the times. Luckily, there are a variety of 2016 Easter egg hunts in Springfield MO where you and your little ones can teach the Easter Bunny, the most influential of all bunnies, all the latest phrases. That, and get some serious egg hunting on.

2016 Great Egg Hunt

Head on over to Willard  on March 19th for a spectacular Easter Egg hunt that is so much more than just roaming around looking for spots of color in the green grasses. There are activities from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. with the hunt itself starting at 9.  Expect bounce houses, Easter games, breakfast and photos with Peter Cottontail and some spring crafts. There will be four age groups, making the hunt fair for all.

Walnut Lawn Church of God Easter Egg Hunt

This one will be competing for your attention, as it also takes place on March 19th. The upside? If you play your cards right, you could hit up two hunts in one day. This one takes place at 11 a.m., a full two hours after the start of the one in Willard. In addition to the egg hunt there will be a video, music and games.

Easter Egg Helicopter Drop

Finally an Easter egg hunt that is happening on Easter! Head over to the High Street Baptist Church for an interesting experience. This isn’t just your standard hunt, as you have a little more insight into where the eggs will be, as more than 10,000 of these little guys will be dropped from a helicopter around 11:15 a.m.

These are some of the best Easter egg hunt options we’ve found in and around the Springfield MO area, but we’re sure there’s plenty more to do for this spring holiday.
