Advantages of the 2019 Volkswagen Atlas

You’ll find there are many similarities between these two models. However, a few things make the Atlas a more appealing choice to some shoppers, and vice versa. For example; both the 2019 Volkswagen Atlas and the 2019 Honda Pilot hit around the $32,000 mark when it comes to starting price, with the Atlas being slightly lower and the Pilot slightly higher.

However, if you are a more adventurous person, or take a variety of trips, you may find that the basic warranty on the Atlas is a bit more appealing since you are covered for either 72000 miles or 6 years, which is double the amount the Pilot offers.

The Atlas is a bit less powerful than the Pilot but does have better fuel economy in the city, whereas the Pilot is more powerful and gets slightly better fuel economy on the highway. Likewise, while you’ll be able to seat 1 more person in the Pilot than you can in the Atlas, the Atlas gives you more cargo space behind the last row than the Honda Pilot.
